Marden House Concerts offers a unique music experience: a Sunday afternoon listening to professional musicians perform in the intimate setting of Marden House, with its widely-acclaimed acoustic, followed by tea and an opportunity to meet the performers.

“Unbelievably, we have come to the tenth anniversary of Marden House Concerts. We have planned a varied series showing the essence of our intentions when we started the concerts. There are some exciting new talents to enjoy, some from the youngest group ever to play in the series, from Wells Cathedral School. There is the best of our Wiltshire professional musicians, a stimulating master class, and to crown our series a celebrity visit from the international duo, Emma Kirkby and Anthony Rooley. Come and join us in celebrating in the convivial atmosphere of Sunday afternoon concert and tea at Marden House.” - Penelope Price Jones Chairman

The market town of Calne in North Wiltshire, on the River Marden, has been a woollen centre and former home to the famous Harris bacon factory. Today it retains many old and interesting buildings and is close to Cherhill White Horse, Bowood House and many other famous visitor attractions. In addition to Marden House Concerts, it stages an annual Music Festival.
