To complete our series we welcome back Paul Turner with his recital partner, the distinguished cellist, Caroline Dale. Since winning the string section of the Young Musician of the Year at the age of 13, Caroline has become equally well known as a soloist and chamber music player. She is currently principal cello of the English Chamber Orchestra. Lately she has become something of a musical ‘film star’ playing the cello as Jacqueline du Pré in ‘Hilary and Jackie’ and most recently being the soloist in the award-winning soundtrack to ‘Atonement’. Their programme includes sonatas by César Franck and JS Bach, together with the 'Atonement ' suite by Dario Marianelli.
