Serbian born accordionist Miloš Milivojević comes to us strongly recommended by contacts at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he has been studying since 2002with Owen Murray. In 2008 he was given the prestigious RAM Club prize and went on to win the intercollegiate award. His recent appearances in the London concert halls have brought reviews like the following from Richard Whitehouse ‘Accordionists are not new to PLG recitals, the sheer bravura with which Miloš Milivojević dispatched his varied sequence suggested that the instrument has come of age as a vehicle for creative expression’. His programme includes works by Scarlatti, Mendelssohn and Sarasate plus original works for accordion.
