Penelope Roskell has performed as soloist at major concert halls throughout Britian, including the Barbican, Wigmore Hall, Bridgewater Hall and the South Bank. She is Professor of piano at Trinity College, London and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. She has also travelled widely in over thirty countries, and made numerous broadcasts on BBC radio, WFMT Radio in Chicago and British, Polish and Greek television. She is also known for her keen interest in linking yoga to performing practice. Her programme will include Mozart, Ravel, and Schubert's opus 90 Impromptus, together with a Spanish influence theme of music by Albéniz and Mompou. This recital is sponsored by Calne Town Council. It is followed by a master class for local pianists (sponsored by North Wilts District Council).
