“Welcome to the 2011/2012 series, our third series under Daniel Tong's direction, which promises to be as varied and enjoyable as the last two seasons. The subscription set of 6 open tickets costs £50, which means you can use one for each concert, or if you wish, use a ticket to bring a friend with you. A double subscription, ie 12 open tickets, costs £90, again giving you the flexibility to bring friends who do not usually attend our concerts. In this way you can help us to extend our audience and ensure the future of the series. We are welcoming many talented young musicians in this series and we are grateful to the Countess of Munster Trust for sponsoring one concert again.” - Margaret Garratt, Chairman

The market town of Calne in North Wiltshire, on the River Marden, has been a woollen centre and former home to the famous Harris bacon factory. Today it retains many old and interesting buildings and is close to Cherhill White Horse, Bowood House and many other famous visitor attractions. In addition to Marden House Concerts, it stages an annual Music Festival.
