Marden House Concerts offers a unique music experience: a Sunday afternoon listening to professional musicians perform in the intimate setting of Marden House, with its widely-acclaimed acoustic, followed by tea and an opportunity to meet the performers.

“Welcome to the 2012/2013 series, which promises to be as varied and enjoyable as the last three seasons under Daniel’s direction.
The subscription set of 6 open tickets costs £50, which means you can use one for each concert, or if you wish, use a ticket to bring a friend with you. A double subscription, ie 12 open tickets, costs £90, again giving you the flexibility to bring friends who do not usually attend our concerts. In this way you can help us to extend our audience and ensure the future of the series.
We are welcoming many talented young musicians as usual. In this series we welcome back the Wells Cathedral School and we thank the Countess of Munster Trust for sponsoring one of our concerts again.”

The market town of Calne in North Wiltshire, on the River Marden, has been a woollen centre and former home to the famous Harris bacon factory. Today it retains many old and interesting buildings and is close to Cherhill White Horse, Bowood House and many other famous visitor attractions. In addition to Marden House Concerts, it stages an annual Music Festival.
